about us

process

The environments in which we live and work effect our social interactions. Poor community buildings are often the result of limited consultation with the people who manage, run and use them. Rather than supporting people in gaining the most out of their lives, buildings often erode opportunities for meaningful activity, choice and personalisation of spaces. Our approach engages groups in a dialogue about their objectives, programs and resources. This involves drawing on a range of experience from across an organisation. We establish project teams that ideally include management, staff and building users. Together we work through a series of steps to explore the best possible solution.

step 1: assessing the situation
Before coming up with a list of required rooms, we need to understand the existing situation. read more

step 2: establishing the brief
The next step is to establish a project brief that will form the basis of the design of your new service. read more

step 3: developing the design
We then focus on the design of the new building work. Our process is accessible to your project team and encourages their input. read more

step 4: taking the project to completion The design is then taken through a series of stages to construction and your occupation. At each stage the project team will have input into specific decisions. read more
