Samantha has been working as a designer and teacher since completing her degree at Adelaide University in 1995. She has worked on exhibition design, commercial fit-outs, residential developments, film sets and environmentally sustainable projects both as a sole practitioner and a contractor to small practices. Samantha has a keen interest in painting and drawing, completing a two-year study of Venetian Oil painting technique under Charlie Sheard. Currently she is investigating both the visual and physical cross-over between painting and architecture, including the importance of making a space readable to those involved in the design process and all those who will ultimately use that space. She also currently teaches design and communications to university students.
